What do you
charge per hour?

Nectar & Hunny charges by the piece with a minimum base rate of $200.00. Most pieces work out to around $200.00/hour.

What methods of payments do you accept?

Nectar & Hunny takes all deposits via card, and the remaining payment will be due in cash at the time of your appointment.

What are the rules around your deposits?

A $100-$400 deposit is required to book your appointment, and this is made securely online through our square online platform. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. They can be transferred one time to a new date.

Will I need a touchup? How much does it cost for a touchup?

There are many factors that play into needing touchups. It is more common for fine line work to require a touchup due to how thin the lines are. This can also depend on your skin type, and how well you follow aftercare instructions.

Nectar & Hunny charges $55.00 for a touchup within 6-10 weeks of your original appointment date. You must wait a minimum of 4 weeks after your original session to book a tattoo touchup.

Outside of your touchup period, or for additional touchups, you will be charged at $150.00 per touchup. If your tattoo has visible signs of poor aftercare you may be subject to a fee. If you show up for a touchup appointment with no touchup required, you will be charged an hourly fee for the missed tattoo opportunity time.

If you are unsure if you need a touchup, please email a clear, well lit photo of your tattoo to us, and we can help assess what you need.

Do you tattoo over other artists work, or do coverups /touchups?

n short, yes. However we will need to see your current work, and know the artist you previously were tattooed by in order to decide if we can proceed with a tattoo appointment. Please fill out our request form and make sure to add in pictures of your current work!

What is the difference between flash tattoos and customs tattoos?

Flash tattoos are drawings, designs or concepts that are released by Nectar & Hunny with a flat rate attached to them. These are designs we want to do and have designed on our own time. These designs are not allowed to have any adjustments or changes made to them.

Custom designs are created by the artist in collaboration with the client. Using the images the client submits via the request form, and a combination of email consultations, to create the ideal piece!

Can I see a design before booking an appointment?

No. Due to the back to back schedules and limited free time for drawing, Nectar & Hunny does not send out drawings prior to your appointment.

Nectar & Hunny does set aside time during your appointment to make changes if you need. Please ensure you are clear with your design idea. Any redraws will be charged at 50% of our hourly rate, or potentially a cancelled appointment.

Is there anything you will not tattoo?

Will you worked on numbed skin?

No. We do not work on numbed skin without prior consultation. If you need numbing cream, there is specific brands we will work with and will recommend to you to buy. Depending on your piece we may also strongly encourage or strongly discourage the use of numbing cream.

Numbing cream is very unreliable and can drastically change your skin texture. This can result in extremely blown out, disproportional tattoos.

We have a very gentle hand, and have numbing agents we can use to help curb the edge of the pain once we have broken into the skin.
